Marec has been operating De Spaanjerd and Heerenlaak Marinas and camper parks since 1980.
De Spaanjerd Marina in Kinrooi is especially popular with sailboats and large cabin yachts. There are nearly 1,000 berths for a wide range of vessels such as dinghies on land to yachts with a maximum length of 35 metres.
Heerenlaak Marina in Maaseik (440 berths), with its abscence of any speed restrictions, is particularly attractive to operators of fast motor boats.
Both marinas are connected to large lakes, where various water sports can be enjoyed.They are also connected to an international network of navigable waterways. The camper parks offer spacious pitches for campers and are an ideal base for shopping, cycling and walking in the surrounding area.
